Transfer Funds from Your Bank Account
Reload your Halogen Reloadable Prepaid Card directly from your bank, credit union, or other financial institution! Many banks offer the ability to transfer funds through a process known as ACH transfer. It’s a great way to load your card.

Will I be charged a fee?
Halogen doesn’t charge any fees for this service.

Your bank may offer ACH transfers as a free service, although some may charge a fee. Please check your bank’s website or contact them for more details.

How long does it take?
Each bank has its own time frame for how long it takes to transfer your funds. Usually, it will take 1-3 business days. Check with your bank for more details.

Is there a limit on how much I can load?
You may load up to $1,000 in any 30 day period.*

If you attempt to reload your Card using multiple methods on the same day (i.e. MoneyPak and ACH), the daily card load limit of $2,500 per day still applies. The maximum Card balance limit is $2,500. We may accept loads from bank accounts through ACH deposit in excess of these limits in our sole discretion. Your bank may also apply transfer limits. Please check with your bank or financial institution for more details.

How does it work?
Log in to your bank’s website and follow your bank’s instructions to set up electronic funds transfers, also called “ACH Transfers.” Each bank will have their own setup process, but you will need the following pieces of information to load your Halogen Reloadable Prepaid Card.

Important note! The routing and direct deposit numbers are to be used for Direct Deposit only. They may not be used to pay bills or take money off your Card. All transactions of this type will be declined.
